The Mango Salad Bowl with Spiral carving in Avocado green is turned and then hand chiseled from reclaimed Thai mango wood. The mango tree stops producing fruit after about 20 to 30 years, so the plantation cuts them down and plants new trees. The carvers in Chiang Mai, Thailand then use the logs to make these beautiful bowl. They measure about 11 inches in diameter by 5 inches tall and painted the finished with food-safe lacquer.
